In high schools 1,200 miles apart, Cindy and Robert began the journey that led to Ocotillo Music.
We were reminded of this when Cindy received an invitation to her class reunion at Central High School in Springfield, Mo. The web page has a photo album that included this photo of Cindy as a freshman at an orchestra rehearsal.
So Robert pulled out his senior year annual and found a picture of him playing "Stairway to Heaven" (at least that's what he thinks he was playing. It was a long time ago) after the honor society induction ceremony in the cafeteria of Mayfield High School in Las Cruces, N.M.
It'd be about a decade before we would meet, but we were destined to make music.
